This is unbelievable! Thank you Steve, and thank you OLF!

Although I have used nice enough sets of back and sides in the past, they have been nothing close to this. This is really extraordinary. It will really be exciting for me to turn it into a great instrument.

I really want to express thanks to Steve. Certainly for this, but also for being an outstanding supplier. I don't build enough to be a big customer for any of the forum sponsors, but my experience purchasing from Steve in the past has been just as extraordinary as what everyone on this forum has experienced with him. I have said this many other times --- even when he wasn't giving away beautiful wood --- but I certainly want to take this opportunity to repeat those thoughts.

Although I do not yet know what I will build with this wood, I can make two promises: (1) I will keep you all well-informed, and (2) this set of back & sides will soon find itself joined to a fine top purchased from Colonial Tonewoods!Kelby39011.0070949074

Kelby, I second your comments about Steve. I am currently building a LS Redwood/Koa OM and had a specific need for some BRW appointments. I sent Steve a picture of a guitar by Ed Claxton my client sent me to use as a guide. Steve picked and preened and found me exactly what I asked for. THAT is customer service!

Congrats on winning! I suspect an Addy top would go GREAT with that KOA.

I believe I registered as Kelby Van Patten, so just send it to my regular registration.
